Sending Smiles....

Hi everyone!

Today I'm back with another project and it was inspired by the Paper Issues Die Cutting Saturday blog post!
In this post, they have a free downloadable digital cut file for the Silhouette! Being a newer Silhouette crafter, I had to jump on board!
For today's card project, I used the free cut file from above and also the My Style Stamps "Monster Hugs" stamp set!

I did some basic copic coloring on the monsters using YG06, YG09 and R29, R24. I chose to delete the words they had on a few of the larger triangles and just keep them basic shapes.  Once everything was cut out, I kept all the triangles that were positioned correctly, sitting on their base, and set aside all of the ones that would have set on their "points."  With the triangles I kept, I used my copic W7 to color them in, popped them on foam adhesive then colored them with my wink of stella clear glitter pen.  I then decided I wanted to add in the second monster on the top left triangle. He was just so cute, I couldn't resist! Lastly I stamped and clear embossed my sentiment, added the red heart and coated their eyes and heart with glossy accents!

If you are interested in checking out this free file which includes a .studio cut file and .png images, be sure to click on the blog post link above in the description!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a crafty weekend!
