Celebrating My New Year's Eve with TGF

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!  Tonight, while passing time for the midnight celebrations, I decided to take out a few The Greeting Farm stamps and create 3 projects!

The first card I did was with the Alice Bean stamp. I wanted to do a clean and simple card and work on my no line coloring.  I used Memento Desert Sand ink and copic colored her.  It's quite challenging, but I like the look that it give when compared to the black outline.

The second card I did was with the Hatter Bean stamp and I wanted to do something cute and "cutesy" that had some flowers and layers.  I used My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing Tangerine paper pad and card stock elements along with  paper flowers and enamel dots from my stash.

The third and final card I did was with Cheeky Shooter and I wanted to create something cute as well, but with a twist...I thought that the sentiment "Give me a squeeze" would have a fun play of words considering she's holding a gun :)   I added a few flowers and ribbon from my stash along with a few butterflies from the Martha Stewart punch. All papers came from the Miss Caroline paper pad.

Thanks for stopping buy!  I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year!
May each of you find inspiration in every day life to create many more projects for the months to come!

:)

2013 Holiday Card Series #6

Hello everyone!  Today's project is my 6th card in my 2013 Holiday Card Series over on my YouTube channel and I am also submitting this project for the Paper Smooches challenge over on their Sparks blog HERE.  It's anything goes week and I was trying to come up with something that would be easier to mass produce, yet still have that personal touch.  Here's the project that I created:

No patterned paper for this card!  Just one image from the Paper Smooches Santa Paws stamp set, the matching sentiment, some twine, bling and TADA!  Super easy to color and if you don't want to go to the extent of adding twine to try to save some time, simply just draw the line on with a fine liner or the dashed line from that same stamp set! And who can't pass up that cute sentiment?! It's what inspired this entire project! :)

To purchase this stamp set, please visit Paper Smooches HERE.

Have a great evening!

Alley Way Stamps: Re-Be Inspired 42

Hello everyone! Happy Hump Day!!  Today I did a project for a challenge over on the Alley Way Stamp Blog.  The challenge this week is called "Re-Be Inspired #42" and we are suppose to create a project that was inspired by this photo:

I have been eyeing up Alley Way Stamps for a long time, they have so many CUTE sets! But the images that inspired me to create my project today were free digi's over on their site! How awesome, right?!  Here is the card that I created:

Isn't this dog just simply adorable?!  And I love the pairing of him with their cute tree with a heart and the sentiment "Home is where I always want to be."  How oh-so appropriate!  All of the papers that I used for this card came from the MME 6x6 All Spice paper pad.  I used a prima wooden house, Studio Calico wooden trees, some twine, My Style Stamps sequins and the sentiment is a cardstock sticker from Bella Blvd. Thankful kit. I added some glossy accents to his nose and heart on the tree and wink of stella clear glitter pen to the dog and tree.  This has got to be one of my most favorite projects that I have created in a while!

If you'd like to join in on this challenge or any other challenge from Alley Way, head on over to their challenge blog post HERE.

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge: Week Nov. 24-Dec. 1 Picture Perfect Challenge

Hello everyone! This week over on the Paper Smooches Sparks Blog is the Picture Perfect Challenge! This has to be one of my favorite challenges that they have! This week I did a little twist and manipulated a stamp and went a little non-traditional!  Here is the inspirational photo for the week:

I used one of my most favorite birthday stamps from Paper Smooches and with the use of 3 Christmas sets, I made a non-traditional Christmas card!

And these were the 4 stamp sets I used to create this card:

I used Party Pals, minus the birthday hat, added a Santa's hat from Chubby Chum Pals and the sentiment "fleas navidad", present and bone came from the final set!  FEWWW! That was a lot of piecing together, but was totally worth it!!  I used all non-traditional colors, layout and feel and I am in love with this card!  I glossy accented the balloon, bone and teeth and used my stardust glitter pen on the presents and Santa's hat. I also used white enamel accents on the Santa's hat and eyes and finished it off with green enamel dots!  This has to be one of my favorites!

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge: Cool Shades Week Nov. 18-24th

Hello everyone!  This week over on the Paper Smooches Sparks blog, they are having a challenge using the following color scheme for their cool shades week:

I created the following clean and simple card using this scheme:

For this weeks card, I used 2 Paper Smooches stamp sets.  The first was "Warm Hearts" which is where the cardinal and the hearts came from and the second was "All Yule Need" which is where  the polka dot border is from.  I used Versa Magic Persimmon and Key Lime for the orange and green, Brilliance pearlescent sky blue and color box fireberry for the red border. I copic colored the cardinal with R20, R24, R29 and a touch of R39 then glossy accented him.

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge: Designer Drafts Nov. 11th-16th

Happy Saturday everyone!  Today I'm continuing to make some Christmas cards so I don't fee swamped in a couple weeks!  The card I made today is for the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge which is the Designer Drafts Challenge this week.  We were to follow the following sketch:
I created the following card following this sketch:

I used the 2 Paper Smooches stamp sets for the project this week.  The first is Swanky Snowdudes which I used for the snowman on the front and snowflakes on the front and inside.  The sentiment on the inside comes from the All yule need stamp set.  Both of these sets can be found HERE.  Lastly, I used my stardust glitter pen to add some shimmer to the banner and snowman and the wink of stella clear glitter pen over all the larger snowflakes.

Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge Nov.4th-10th

Hello everyone!  Today is the last day to participate in the challenge over on the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog before a new one is posted tomorrow!  If you'd like to participate, please click HERE.  This week focuses on "Trend Watch" and here is the inspirational photo to follow:

For this weeks project, I created the following card:

I used Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes stamp set along with My Style Stamps Snowflake sequins, amazing snowflake rhinestones I found at Joann's and my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen.  I created a snow bank using 2 layers of velum and fussy cut & copic colored the snowman, bird and candy cane pole :).  When I adhered the snowman down, I glued the bottom of him and used a foam adhesive behind his head. I love the dimension it added while still making him appear behind the snow.  Finally I embossed the Seasons Greetings sentiment that comes in the same stamp set with black embossing powder and tada!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a fab evening!
