Lawnscaping Challenge: 100th Challenge!

Yep! You've seen that right!!  The Lawnscaping Challenge Blog is celebrating their 100th challenge this week and I'm honored to be guest designing this month to be included in this huge milestone! So, lets get to the fun stuff....here's the challenge:

It's a birthday theme!!  Whoot whoot!!
I wanted to tackle this challenge with a mission, and that mission was to create a shaker card that would work perfectly for upcoming kids birthday parties! So after digging thru my stash, I pulled out several stamp sets and Lawn Fawn 6x6 papers and went to work!

For this piece, I used a total of 7 different Lawn Fawn Stamps/Dies! Yep! That many!!
Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables Dies for the Woodgrain border, Forest Border Die for the background trees on a hill....and now for the stamps...Hello Sunshine for the clouds, Year Four for the balloons and party hat, Winter Penguin for the "Happy" sentiment, So Much To Say for the "Birthday" sentiment and finally Joy to the Woods for the log and that adorable chipmunk!!

Be sure to join us over on the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog this week to upload your project for your chance to win a stamp set of your choice from Lawn Fawn!  To view all the details and link up your creation, visit their post HERE.

Until next time, have a colorful day!

Lawnscaping Challenge: Clean and Simple

Hey y'all! Today I'm crazy excited to announce I'll be guest designing for the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog for the month of February!  With that being said...here is your first challenge for the month!

Clean and Simple! .....and let me just say, if you're a follower of my work, I am nothing but an over embellisher!  I took this challenge and ran with it! I had to add just a few touches of "me," but overall, I call this a success!

For this piece, I used the Winter Sparrows, Lucky Stars and Joy to the Woods stamp sets. With a small amount of distress inking, little bits of copic coloring and white gel pen and rhinestone accents, I'm officially in love with clean and simple!

This challenge is sponsored by the amazing Ellen Hutson, LLC...so come on over and link up your project for your chance to win!

Challenge #100 is coming up in 2 weeks!
