Lawnscaping Challenge #78: #2

Two-fer-Thursday! Lol!

As I said in my previous post...I've been on creating overload this afternoon!
Here is the second card that I created for the challenge over on the Lawn Fawn Lawnscaping Challenge Blog! Theme is Clean and Simple!

As are many of my projects, this card was inspired by the first card I created!
When I used the sun on my previous card, it inspired me to use sun shine and bright colors!
My personal challenge was to do all stamping and no die cuts! Success!

The new stamp set "Hello Sunshine" has to be one of the most versatile and fun sets that I have recently purchased!  I absolutely love every element in it!  I wanted to use some of those smaller elements in this project which inspired the double heart stamping.

Here is are the items I used in today's project:

Lawnscaping Challenge #78

Hello Thursday!

Its Friday for me and today I have spent some quite some time this afternoon creating!
Today's project is one of 2 that I created for the Lawn Fawn Lawnscaping Challenge #78.
Here's the challenge...

Hmmmm....clean and simple....sometimes this can be so difficult!  But I think I pulled it off!

For this project I wanted to use EVERYTHING Lawn Fawn...and I did it!!!
The papers are from the Peace, Love, Joy 6x6 paper pad, sequins are the Into the Woods Sequins and the stamps and dies are all from the new 2014 CHA release!
I absolutely LOVE the little yellow flowers in the grass!
Adds the little sparkle that I'm used too without over doing it!

Here are the supplies I used for today's project:

Avery Elle Challenge #2: Embellishments

 Hello Friday!!!!
Today I have a project for you that I created for the Avery Elle I <3 U Challenge!
The challenge is to use Embellishments!
I have been in love with sequins lately, so I decided to use those,
but I also decided to pull out and dust off my burlap!
I haven't used that in ages!
The "For You" stamp is a free digi image from the Avery Elle blog which can be found HERE

I used my copics in colors bg10, bg13, rv21, rv23, v04 and v09 for the flowers and yg95 and yg99 for the leaves.  For the boarder around the sentiment, I used e34 and e39.  I added the Wink of Stella clear glitter onto the flowers and leaves as well. After fussy cutting the image, I adhered that onto the panel of burlap then adhered that onto the card base.
On the card base, I stared by flicking some purple color mist and let it dry thoroughly before I adhered the burlap panel on. Once everything was dry, I finished it off with white, purple and moonshine sequins!

Not only was this a great use of some "older" embellishments, but if made a very cute clean and simple card!

If you'd like to play along with Avery Elle's challenge, there is still lots of time!

My Style Stamps Preview Week!

Hello Everyone!!

Today's project I have to share with you is a project that I created to kick off Preview Week for my stamp line, My Style Stamps!
This project uses the new release stamp set "Rain or Shine" which will be available HERE beginning Tuesday, March 18th!  This is a 3"x4" clear photopolymer stamp set that will retail for $6.95!

I used no line copic coloring technique where I used Memento Dessert Sand ink to stamp the outline as opposed to the traditional Memento Tuxedo Black!  It takes a lot more effort, but is completely worth it!
I added glossy accents to all the rain details and popped the clouds up on foam dimensionals!
Just what it needed to finish everything off!

Thanks soooo much for stopping by and have a sunny day!

Hotrods Boutique Design Team Call!

Hello Everyone!

Today I have a project share that I'm submitting to Hotrods Boutique Design Team Call!
Brittany asked us to create a project using either a girl image stamp or Avery Elle products.
Since Avery Elle is still on my wish list, I chose a Some Odd Girl image.

All the papers on this project came from the My Minds Eye Lost and Found Market-Market Street 6x6 paper pad. I used Lawn Trimmings twine, Simon Says Stamp "hello" die, Memory Box butterfly boarder die, clear glitter enamel dots and moonshine sequins from my stash.

To check out my YouTube video where I share all of Brittany's information on her shop, Facebook page, discount code and giveaway, please click on the video below:

CAS: Mass Producing A Few Cards!

Hello Saturday!

Today I wanted to create 3 of the same cards for 3 different people that I'm swapping with.
So, to keep it simple, I chose to use just a few easy stamping images, no coloring, some irridescent thread for dimension, sequins and a bold "hello."

I didn't have a die for this little bird, so what I did was just flip the stamp over and traced the cling foam that was attached to it and TADA!  Instant die cut!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend!

Mimi's Friend's Card Share

Hello Thursday!

Today I have a project to share using the "Flowers for Mimi" Penny Black Stamp.
I have been recently inspired by Spring...Winter is really starting to get to me!

For this project, I forced myself to do some layers and dusted off those flowers that have been impatiently waiting to be used! The brads that I had in my stash didn't really work with the card, so I covered them in glossy accents and added enamel dots over them! There was some glossy accents that came out the sides so I just added Clear Rock Candy Stickles and that solved the problem! For the main image, I used my Tim Holtz Distress Markers and water brush.

If you'd like to see the coloring process on Mimi, please see my YouTube video below:

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you got inspired!
