Free "grateful" .png !!!

Good Crafty Morning and Hello Saturday!

With a hectic week, it's been so relaxing to sit, design and create this early Saturday morning!...just fitting it into an even busier weekend lol!! Any ways, I was sketching and prepping for my 30 Days of Gratitude, because I realized that begins this Tuesday...holy crap where did the time go?!  I eventually want to make an introduction 4x6 card for in my album and wanted something  "personal" to start the 30 day journey.  Here's how the lettering ended up:

I cut it in two sizes, possibly one to use in my bible journal as well, and heat embossed it twice with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder....this was my first time using this color of embossing powders...and WOW!!  I'm impressed! Definitely a new staple in my collection!

I would like to share this "grateful" hand written design with you all!
Click HERE for the .png format to use in you Silhouette software...just resize and image trace!

Layout using Maggie Holmes "Bloom"

Happy Fri-yay!!!

I created a layout a few days ago following the amazing sketch from Paper Issues!

I knew the paper, photo and embellishments that I exactly wanted to use! I just love when that happens! Sometimes that's the biggest battle! The papers and some of the embellishments I used came from the Maggie Holmes "Bloom" collection and the other embellishments are from the Carpe Diem collection.

I just love that the little blocks in this paper describe exactly the relationship between my boys and their favorite dog! ....and isn't that pup so darn cute with the tie?!

Thank you so very much for stopping by!

Have a creative and colorful weekend!

Jesus never leaves!

Hello everyone and happy Friday eve!!!

Today I'm sharing probably my most favorite entry in my bible thus far.

"He will be with you. He will not leave you."
AMEN!

No matter what our troubles may be, Jesus never leaves us. Ask for forgiveness if we are astray. Ask for help if we are lost. Sometimes just a simple "thank you" for everything he's done for us.

The word "leaves" inspired this entire project.  I used my silhouette to cut out all of the individual leaves and painted them with distress paints as you can see below.

After the leaves dried, I splatterd them with white paint dropplets for more dimension.  I formed them into a wreath on my page and topped it off with an assortment of sequins and enamel dots.  I also added on 3 wood veneer leaves over top some thread for more dimension.

Here are some close ups of the page!

Thank you all so much for stopping by!

I hope you have a fantastic evening and a great weekend!

Bible Journaling Bonanza!

Hello crafty friends!

I have so busy with my head in my bible that I keep forgetting to post these as I create them! I've been water coloring, using my new fabulous Distress Crayons from Tim Holtz and heat embossing all sorts of things! lol!!  Here's what's been added to my bible over the last 2 weeks:

This layout has to be one of my top 2 fav's!  It happened by a whym and was one of those moments where a verse hit me and I wanted to get it down...and it all happened in maybe 20 minutes...which is a record for me!

Another fav....I wanted to try the "cleaner" look to my pages...but, I'm not sure if this is really my style...not enough color! Hahaha!

LOVE the heat embossing on this layout with the water coloring on the leaves!!!

My first attempt at a "tip in" if you will...that "One of a kind" card is a flap with journaling behind.

Oh and my other fav!!  Just look at all the water color, tone on tone stamping and enamel dots!!
Makes my heart HAPPY!!!!

Next page, I'll try to remember to post as I finish it!
And maybe with a process in there too!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a colorful week!
